While many are familiar with startup activity in New Orleans, there is a lot happening outside of the Big Easy throughout Louisiana. Shreveport-based RNvention recently raised $215,000 to advance manufacturing and the go-to-market strategy for their MultiNix product.
MultiMix is the flagship product for the company, which was founded by Registered Nurses. The product has been called a Swiss-Army like device designed for nurses by nurses.
“This product is a multi-purpose tool developed by nurses, specifically to address the needs of the bedside nurse and clinicians,” the New Orleans BioInnovation Center shared.
“Securing these funds will propel RNvention’s business forward, and the team is now pursuing strategic partnerships and introductions to any individuals or companies that would add value to this next phase of product development,” continued the New Orleans BioInnovation Center.
RNvention is also one of the startups highlighted on the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP) wall of achievement. Each of the 13 startups on the wall has completed a capital raise and/or received capital investment from local accredited investors.
