The New Orleans Health Innovators is a brand new community founded to drive healthcare innovation forward faster, better, and more sustainably. As an initiative of the New Orleans Business Alliance with the help of MedStartr, the community hopes to improve healthcare and medical treatments through regular meetings and collaboration.
“We are patients, doctors, nurses, hospital workers, inventors, investors, scientists, programmers, designers, and people from all over the New Orleans area,” shared the group.
The kickoff event is on Thursday, July 6, at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. Opening remarks will be made by Amritha Appaswami of NOLABA and Alex Fair of MedStartr followed by a keynote from Esteban Gershanik, CIO of the Louisiana Dept. of Health and Hospitals. The full agenda can be found here.
