Free Your Tea is New Orleans-based tea company that uses knowledge, technology, and data to help customers discover their favorite teas and have them delivered regularly, creating value for all stakeholders.
The tea tech startup was recently announced as one of the 134 startups, narrowed down from 502, selected as a semi-finalist for the 43North $5 million startup competition headquartered in Buffalo.
“43North is widely recognized as a premier business competition for the most innovative startup ventures from around the world,” said New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “New York is excited to welcome these semifinalists to the second round of this top-notch contest, as we continue to attract more talent and entrepreneurs to Western New York, and support Buffalo’s increasingly expanding business community.”
Free Your Tea was launched by Knud Berthelsen, founder and CEO of Connect + Trade, another New Orleans-based company that develops and executes online strategies for online marketing of products for sale in domestic and export markets.
