Innovation Louisiana is the annual startup conference for life science entrepreneurs, university researchers, students, and the business community. The two-day educational event expects nearly 200 attendees at the New Orleans BioInnovation Center on November 6 and 7.
The fifth annual conference is aimed at educating entrepreneurs and highlighting cutting-edge regional STEM initiatives. Innovation Louisiana will cover topics such as finding funding for development and commercialization, conducting customer and market research, successfully introducing innovations in a clinical setting, and more.
“Louisiana scientists have a long history of quietly making ground-breaking contributions to industries from medicine to engineering,” said Aaron Miscenich, President of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center. “At this year’s conference, as we celebrate the fifth anniversary of our Innovation Louisiana events, we are raising the profile of local STEM experts who will discuss applying scientific breakthroughs to create real change across the globe.”
