The international technology standards consortium Object Management Group (OMG) is planning two tech events in New Orleans this September.
Data Residency: Standards, Challenges, and Standards is the first event scheduled for Tuesday, September 26.
“This special tutorial and roundtable in New Orleans aims to inform the audience about this work and kick off discussions of a roadmap toward resolving the issues by developing or updating appropriate standards,” shared OMG.
The second event, focused on cybersecurity, will bring together practitioners developing IT standards targeted at the security engineering lifecycle and the digital transformation of business operations. OMG will be sharing how to plan for, budget, and reduce costs associated with building/acquiring secure and resilient software.
Cybersecurity Workshop: Risk Assessment Through Automated Attach Analysis will take place Thursday, September 28.
