Propeller and 4.0 Schools Launch Third Annual PitchNOLA: Education

Local entrepreneurial support organizations Propeller and 4.0 Schools are gearing up to host the third annual PitchNOLA: Education, which awards cash prizes to entrepreneurial solutions that measurably improve educational outcomes for underserved New Orleanians.

New Orleans has undergone significant education reforms since Hurricane Katrina, and while many academic gains have been made, we still have work to do to make sure those improvements are accessible to all New Orleanians, especially students and youth of color,” shared Propeller.

The organizers are now accepting applications from non-profits, for-profits, individuals, and organizations through October 4, 2017.

Each submission will be judged by three criteria: potential for educational impact, financial sustainability, and viability.

Ten semi-finalists will be selected to pitch on stage at Propeller for a chance at $10,000 in total startup funding.
