Party with a Purpose at Propeller Pop, Support Social Entrepreneurship in New Orleans

Propeller Pop is the annual benefit event hosted by the New Orleans-based social innovation incubator Propeller.

Propeller is  dedicated to growing and supporting startups, businesses, and non-profits to tackle inequities in food, water, health, and education.

The event is designed to be an opportunity to toast to Propeller’s social entrepreneurs in addition to taste dishes from 10 of the best local pop-up restaurants and chefs. Organizers welcome attendees to wear festive attire with a pop of color.

To date, Propeller has accelerated 131 ventures, helped their entrepreneurs create more than 300 jobs and receive over $84 million in external financing and revenue.

The two honorees this year include the national honoree Ben Hecht, President and CEO of Living Cities, and chef honoree Martha Wiggins, executive chef at Sylvain.

Propeller Pop will take place Thursday, November 16 at the Propeller Incubator. Get your tickets here.
