The electrical wiring equipment manufacturer Leviton has officially opened its doors of the brand new Innovation Center in New Orleans’ Warehouse District. The company hopes the center will enable and inspire advanced engineering in the Crescent City.
“We are always seeking new opportunities for advancement of our product development processes to continue growing and expanding our business,” explained Daryoush Larizadeh, Leviton’s president and chief operating officer. “With the new Innovation Center in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, we are empowering leading edge engineering teams and inspiring fresh, cutting-edge creativity backed by Leviton’s 111-year history of stability and quality.”
Leviton will use the team at its Innovation Center to create and design new products, including secure cloud services, apps, and embedded firmware and hardware.
Originally launched in New York, Leviton has been in New Orleans for the last five years upon the acquisition of Home Automation, Inc.
