The Energy Wise Alliance is a Louisiana-based non-profit that empowers families to make savvy energy choices. Their first ever Wings & Watts fundraiser will take place Tuesday, October 3 at Church of the Annunciation, the location of their office.
Energy Wise Alliance also helps low-income families lower bills, which works towards their goal of easing poverty and fighting climate change. The event is celebrating their work and raising funds for energy equality.
NOLA Brewery is providing the beer, Seven Three Distillery and Atelier Vie are making the cocktails, and Red Hot Jazz Band is bringing the music. There will, of course, be gourmet chicken wings as well.
There will also be handmade lamps available at the raffle, bringing light to the work of Energy Wise Alliance. Each lamp will feature a story representing the impact EWA have had improving the lives of local families,” shared organizers. “Each attendee will receive one raffle ticket just for purchasing a ticket to the event, and a chance to take home one of these unique lamps.”
Tickets are still available for purchase directly via energyla.org.
