Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week (BREW) has opened registration for its seventh annual conference that celebrates innovation in the region. The event is full of entrepreneurial and innovation-focused programming.
“BREW has something for everyone in the business community this year – seasoned entrepreneurs, start-ups, dreamers, and even intrapreneurs,” said Dr. Byron Clayton, CEO of NexusLA, producer of the event.. “Our line-up of speakers and events this year is designed specifically to cater to and engage our diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem in Baton Rouge across all three days, with interactive spectator pitch-style events, educational content for arts entrepreneurs, investors, and the ‘side-hustle crowd’ and an outstanding keynote speaker in Ryan Holiday.”
BREW, scheduled for November 14-16, will feature a women in business conversation, an arts entrepreneur summit, sessions on cybersecurity, virtual reality, business development, and much more. Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is also hosting a test drive of its accelerator program.
“Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) has been involved in BREW since its inception in 2011 and we are again looking forward to helping Baton Rouge businesses grow by hosting a test drive of our EO Accelerator Program,” said Kevin Langley, former EO Global Chairman and current EO Louisiana Community Engagement Chair. “The program, which started in Louisiana in 2006 has grown to 47 cities in 13 countries, has helped thousands of entrepreneurs worldwide including many in Baton Rouge, and we look forward to helping to catalyze even more start-ups through BREW 2017.”
