Fund 17 is a New Orleans-based organization that provides business development assistance to entrepreneurs in each of the city’s 17 wards. On Friday, November 10, they are hosting a fundraiser and networking event to bring together the business owners they support throughout the year as well as the broader community.
The Fall Market & Mixer will be held at Hotel Storyville from 6:00-9:00 PM. Fund 17 will be vending food, art, and other local products. Tickets are available to purchase in advance and at the door.
“New Orleans has tremendous entrepreneurial spirit, but often the entrepreneurs and small businesses operating at a community level don’t get the support and attention they need,” shared Haley Burns, executive director of Fund 17. “This event will be about showcasing those entrepreneurs, bringing together professionals and partners to network, and raising funds to continue Fund 17’s free small business assistance.”
