The Distillery is a New Orleans-based editorial platform that tells the real stories of entrepreneurs and what it’s really like to start and grow a company.
Founder Summer Suleiman has now launched The Distillery podcast to continue to tell those stories, including the challenges, lessons learned, and advice from entrepreneurs.The mission of the blog and podcast is to inform and inspire existing and aspiring entrepreneurs, with a focus on telling the stories of women and minority owned companies.
“While most media outlets highlight the seemingly effortless and glamorous successes of startups, we know that the entrepreneur’s journey is long and daunting,” shared Suleiman. “Those are the stories we’re after: No glitz. No glamour. All grind.”
