Global IT services company DXC Technology announced it would be opening a Digital Transformation Center in New Orleans last month. Today, the company has secured office space where they will employ 2,000 people.
DXC Technology has options to lease up to 10 floors in the Freeport McMoRan Building on Poydras Street in downtown New Orleans. The entire space is 220,000 square feet.
“We’re delighted that DXC Technology has found a home for its Digital Transformation Center in New Orleans and the hiring process is underway,” Gov. John Bel Edwards said. “The DXC project is one of the most significant in the history of our state. We welcome their arrival and will continue our work to provide the best training and talent pipeline possible through all of our Louisiana higher education systems.”
The company is also now hiring for its New Orleans location. Interested applicants can find out more information here.
