The IDEAcorps MBA Consulting Challenge Kicks Off Today

Each year during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW), business school students convene in New Orleans to work with local entrepreneurs to propel their businesses over the course of an intensive few days. The IDEAcorps MBA Consulting Challenge is hosted by Loyola University New Orleans in partnership with The Idea Village, the organization behind NOEW.

“Teams work intensively over four days to scope the problem, validate a solution, and give the entrepreneur a plan that can have real-world results and impact,” shared The Idea Village.

All six teams will present on Sunday at the culminating pitch event judged by a panel of local business leaders who will determine who made the biggest impact on the entrepreneurs and their businesses.

A past IDEAcorps participant Sarah Gardner said the program, “provided an unrivaled opportunity to work firsthand with real entrepreneurs. So many case studies we review in our schooling are hypothetical or focused on past events; however, this competition gave me the opportunity to really dig in deep with a real business problem in real time.”
