Applications for Propeller’s annual PitchNOLA: Living Well, focused on healthcare and food access, are now open through April 15.
PitchNOLA will award $10,000 in total startup funding to entrepreneurs making health and wellness more accessible to all New Orleanians. The final pitch will host the finalists, a panel of judges, and over 200 attendees on May 23.
Propeller is encouraging businesses, non-profits, and individuals to apply online. Each submission will be judged by four criteria, including potential for social impact, financial sustainability, viability, and the entrepreneur’s educational, professional, or life experience track record in regards to leading an initiative.
“The competition is open to all ideas to increase equitable health outcomes for New Orleanians with priority on the following areas: affordable access to nutritious food, reducing food waste, health infrastructure, healthcare technology, and social determinants of health,” shared Propeller.
