Tulane Novel Tech Challenge Highlights Student Innovators Changing the World

The fourth annual Novel Tech Challenge, organized by the Tulane University Office of Technology Transfer, focuses on ideas that improve the environment, human health, education and urban infrastructure through technology.

Over the years, the Challenge has hosted 50 student teams from Tulane Science & Engineering, Medicine, Business, Law, Social Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship, Fine Arts, Architecture, and Public Health.

“The work that undergraduates are doing is significant and very impressive,” says John Christie, executive director of the Office of Technology Transferat Tulane. “They are creating things that will make the world a better place.”

The 10 finalists this year will be pitching this Friday, April 13, for cash and in-kind prizes, as well as an audience favorite award. RSVP here.
