Safety Management Systems, a division of Acadian Companies, is now offering online search and booking options for instructor-led safety and regulatory training, similar to booking travel through Travelocity or AirBnB. The one-stop solution is made possible through a partnership with tech company TrainNow.co and is designed to allow users to spend less time searching and interpreting course information and easily book through an online portal.
Prospective students and training coordinators can search for instructor-led courses by location, course name, date, price, rating, accreditation, amenities and categories. Users can then book courses immediately based on open-enrollment schedules and make requests and communicate with the training provider directly through TrainNow.co. While many industries have online selection and booking functions available to users, safety and regulatory training has been slow to adopt this technology. SMS’ partnership with TrainNow.co’s platform will be among the first of its kind in the industry.
