New Orleans Design Firm Wins Edison Award for Innovation

Over the last three decades the non-profit Edison Universe has been fostering future innovators through the Edison Awards, which honors the best in innovation and excellence in the development of new products and services.

New Orleans-based design and consulting firm FACTOR 10 was named a Bronze Winner for innovation at the 2018 Edison Awards. The company was awarded for their patented wireless induction powered game called LUMEN.

FACTOR 10 helps clients with  product development, digital development, UX design, large-scale branding and identity projects, and high-level business strategy.

A representative from FACTOR 10 said the Edison Awards are considered the “Oscars of innovation,” and “being recognized with an Edison Award has become one of the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of innovation and business.”

More than 3,000 judges participated in this year’s awards. “Our judges recognized FACTOR 10 as a true innovator out of the many products in its category,” said Frank Bonafilia, executive director of the Edison Awards.
