Tulane has launched a brand new Masters program through its School of Professional Advancement (SoPA). The university now offers an online Masters of Professional Studies n Cybersecurity Management.
According to Tulane, the program will provide students with both the theoretical and functional knowledge to succeed in the field.
“SoPA is excited to offer an excellent online master’s degree in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity, building on our strong base of both online and on-ground programs in the computing and security fields,” said Suri Duitch, dean of the School of Professional Advancement.
Tulane worked with an industry panel of practitioners and executives who helped build the new Masters program.
“This program will target students who are currently working in cybersecurity or wish to further their career in IT security, cybersecurity, information assurance and information system security by teaching them how to build and maintain secure networks, as well as thwart malicious cyber attacks,” shared the university.
