Headquartered in New Orleans, Lucid is a marketplace for buyers and sellers of sample, data, and insights collected through surveys and cross-media measurement. The company, formerly Federated Sample, is one of the most well known local tech companies and now employs hundreds.
Lucid has announced the hiring of a new Chief Technology Officer, Rick Pittenger, who has 22 years experience in software development and service engineering. He previously worked for a decade a Yahoo! alongside various engineering organizations within the company.
Pittenger will oversee the Product and Technology team in his new role, one he is taking over for Brett Schnittlich who will now be President at Lucid.
“Rick’s experience in software engineering, alongside his long leadership history, will help Lucid in this period of growth,” shared Schnittlich. “We’re excited that Rick has decided to join us, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the technology team.”
