NOLATech Week is one of the largest free technology events in the South, and it’s back for its sixth year of programming. The unconference will take place October 8-12 in locations all around New Orleans at events organized by community members.
The schedule is here, and it’s full of great tech-related events.
NOLATech Week’s mission is to highlight growth and bring New Orleans’ residents and local business owners together with the startup community to showcase the innovative technology along with the city’s culture, music, and arts.
On Tuesday, October 9, we’re hosting the Silicon Bayou Startup Showcase, a science fair-style event is designed to highlight startups in the New Orleans area with innovative products and projects. Startups have until Friday, September 28 to apply for the showcase. It’s completely free for both startups and attendees to participate.
Other events on the calendar include web development essentials, a cryptocurrency meetup, an informational session with Operation Spark, how technology changed wine, and much more.
NOLATech Week registration is now open here.
