Propeller: A Force For Social Innovation, in partnership with Capital One, is hosting the annual PitchNOLA: Education competition this Wednesday, October 17.
The live pitch competition for social innovators in the New Orleans area has changed up the format and added new and exciting elements.
In addition to the five early-stage entrepreneurs competing for $10,000 in total prizes, five alumni will be showcasing their impact in education since participating.
“These entrepreneurs bring ideas to narrow educational disparities in New Orleans, from early childcare to post-secondary education and additional alternatives to four-year degrees,” shared Propeller.
Additionally, Propeller has announced that Calvin Mackie from STEM NOLA will be the keynote speaker.
Tickets are still available with a $5 donation to support the audience favorite award.
