The National Cyber Security Alliance is partnering with the New Orleans Business Alliance for an upcoming workshop focused on cybersecurity. CyberSecure My Business is a free event for small business owners and employees taking place on Thursday, February 7 at the convention center in New Orleans.
Organizers will be answering questions such as:
- What common cybersecurity misconceptions do small businesses have?
- What are basic steps I can take to better secure my business?
- Who and what are my local, state, and federal resources?
- What are some “quick wins” I can go back to the office and put into action?
There will also be a fireside chat with cybersecurity experts and a presentation on resources provided by the Federal Trade Commission’s Cybersecurity for Small Business program.
