New Orleans-Based Dig Selected to Pitch on Gimlet Media’s Podcast

Dig is a New Orleans-based app for dog lovers. It’s designed for users to find someone who loves dogs as much as they do, or to find someone who will end up getting a dog with them in the future.

After competing against hundreds of other startups, Dig’s co-founder and CEO Leigh Isaacson was invited to pitch investors last week on Gimlet Media’s  podcast called The Pitch. The show provides a look inside how entrepreneurs sell their ideas and what helps make or break a business deal.

“We’re ecstatic to meet with the world-class investors on the show and to celebrate dogs and love with The Pitch listeners,” said Isaacson. “I’ve been a superfan of the show since I started Dig with my sister in 2017. Now, the host and the investors can join us as we connect dog-lovers who are looking to find more love in their life of the two-legged variety.”

Isaacson was selected after an open-call for submissions was opened in May. She called into the show and gave a quick pitch, which ultimately led to her live pitch in the studio.
