New Orleans-based Fluence Analytics provides combined hardware and software analytics solutions to polymer manufacturers. The startup has announced it closed a Series A-1 funding round led by Energy Innovation Capital and Diamond Edge Ventures, the venture capital arm of Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation in the United States.
The company said the funding will go towards supporting its paid proof of performance trials, expand sales, and invest in new hardware and software.
Patrick Suel, President of Diamond Edge Ventures, will join the Board of Directors at Fluence Analytics.
“We expect significant benefits from real-time polymer analytics to improve operational efficiency and product quality while generating long-term insights from these advanced datasets at Mitsubishi Chemical Company,” said Suel.
