New Orleans-based entrepreneurial support organization The Idea Village has partnered with Shell GameChangerTM for its ENERGYx accelerator for the second year in a row. The focus this year is coastal restoration through innovation.
The 16-week program is designed to support innovators with the potential to impact the future of Louisiana and coastal areas around the world.
“Coastal Louisiana is critical to Shell’s global businesses, and helping to advance water management, coastal protection and environmental restoration in a collaborative manner is important to the future of our company and community,” said Rick Tallant, Shell’s Vice President of Production in the Gulf of Mexico.
The program will begin next month with a weeklong boot camp for the new cohort of early-stage businesses. Participating entrepreneurs will work with The Idea Village and Shell to turn their technological innovation into a scalable energy business.
