Launch Pad Releases Coworking Community Impact Report

New Orleans-based coworking space Launch Pad has released its 2020 impact report, a deep dive into the company’s initiatives and programs.

Launch Pad members have created over 9,000 jobs, raised $230,000,000 in capital, leased 1,150,000 square feet of commercial real estate space, and hosted 232 member-led events.

Launch Pad opened its first coworking space in New Orleans in 2009 and is now in four additional locations: East Nashville, Memphis, Newark, and Stockton.

“We’re building a network of spaces to support entrepreneurship in momentum markets throughout the U.S.”

Momentum markets are mid-sized cities that recognize the importance of retaining talent and building momentum as the American economy shifts. “These markets are often under served by other national and global ecosystem players, including coworking spaces, accelerators, and venture investors.”

Launch Pad also launched a foundation to eliminate barriers to access for underrepresented groups through scholarships and career readiness experience through their Ambassador Program.
