New Orleans-based health tech startup DOCPACE has made their platform free to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the region.
DOCPACE has created a patent-pending solution that integrates with doctor’s Electronic Medical Record systems and sends real-time text message updates to patients about appointment delays.
“As New Orleanians, the DOCPACE team wants to help local healthcare providers navigate this uncertain time and help #StopTheSpread of this horrible virus in our community,” revealed the company. “We want to do our part to address the unprecedented crisis that faces us.”
The DOCPACE team shared the four ways their platform can help stop the spread of COVID-19:
- Mass communicate COVID-19 protocol updates with Network patients and provide an audit trail via text messaging
- Send COVID-19 pre-screening questions to scheduled patients via text messaging
- Send COVID-19 drive-thru testing questionnaire via text messaging
- Minimize risk of spreading COVID-19 by text messaging wait updates to reduce crowds in the waiting room DOCPACE would provide the above at no cost over the duration of the pandemic
