Delgado Community College is offering a suite of technology courses throughout the year. To goal is to provide New Orleans residents with the necessary skills to enter or advance their careers within the technology workforce.
Available courses include:
SAFe Product Owner – May 11-13
Develop the skillsets needed to guide the delivery of value in a Lean enterprise by becoming a SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). Gain an in-depth understanding of how to effectively perform their role in the Agile Release Train (ART) as it delivers value through Program Increments.
Scrum Master Course – May 4-6
Gain an understanding of the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise. Unlike traditional Scrum Master training that focuses on the fundamentals of team-level Scrum, the SAFe Scrum Master course explores the role of the Scrum Master in the context of the entire enterprise and prepares attendees to successfully plan and execute the Program Increment (PI), the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.
IT Foundations – May 18-July 17
Provides foundational IT skills across a variety of devices and operating systems. It is the preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. Learn the competency of entry-level PC computer service professionals in installing, maintaining, customizing, and operating personal computers. Prepares students for the TestOut PC Pro and CompTIA A+ 220-1001 certification exams.
