On August 1, New Orleans-based l IT management and support services business Bellwether Technology celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Bellwether offers clients service desk, cyber defense, .Net development, and cloud management solutions. Their team of over 50 people have supported more than 100 businesses throughout Louisiana over the years.
“We started Bellwether in New Orleans after recognizing that the personal computer was going to play a major role in our lives and businesses,” shared Bellwether founder and chairman Poco Sloss. “As a native New Orleanian, it has been particularly gratifying to me to have supplied and supported technology for so many local clients over the past 40 years.”
Bellwether, like so many other businesses, has adjusted operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the last few months, the company has enabled roughly 1,000 people to work from home in the New Orleans area.
“As Bellwether continues to evolve, I am more excited than ever about our prospects for using
technology to bring meaningful benefits to our clients,” added President Steven Ellis.
