Louisiana Small Businesses Find Digital Safety Net During COVID-19

The  Connected Commerce Council (3C) recently hosted a virtual press conference to reveal findings about a newly released research report, “Digitally Driven: U.S. Small Businesses Find a Digital Safety Net During COVID-19 .”

Key findings nationally were that 93 percent of small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs) were disrupted by the pandemic and 85 percent shared that COVID-19 made them rethink their approach to digital tools.

“This research report and accompanying materials describe how and to what extent affordable and accessible digital tools have enabled many small businesses to survive and recover from the economic impact of COVID-19 – in some cases, becoming stronger and more agile in the process,” shared 3C.

Specifically in Louisiana, 81 percent of the state’s small businesses increased their use of digital tools during the pandemic, compared to 72 percent nationally.

The full report is based on a survey of 7,021 SMB leaders, with at least 100 surveyed from each state.
