Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week, also known as BREW, is turning 10. The celebration of entrepreneurship will take place January 19-21, 2021 in a hybrid virtual and in-person format.
Keynote speakers and panelists, panel topics, ticket availability and much more will be announced soon.
On January 21, there will be a live startup pitch competition held during BREW. The BREW High Stakes Pitch Competition is seeking applicants that are based in Louisiana or express a willingness to relocate, the company must have less than $250,000 in annual revenue in 2019, be a legally incorporated business, and have an investable business model with a strong founding team.
BREW organizers NexusLA shared that at the core of the entrepreneurial ecosystem over the last decade lies the startups and business in the Baton Rouge area and across the state.
“To further lift up these companies, the BREW High-Stakes Pitch Competition is back to give our state’s most promising startups a chance at an investment prize to invigorate and propel their businesses to success as we all look toward the future of entrepreneurship in Louisiana.”
The pitch competition is now accepting applications through the end of November. Learn more about BREW and apply to pitch here.
