Nine Startups Selected for BREW High-Stakes Pitch Competition

Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week, also known as BREW, is turning 10. The celebration of entrepreneurship will take place January 19-21, 2021 in a hybrid virtual and in-person format.

Nine startups have been selected to participate in the BREW 10 High-Stakes Pitch Competition. The conference organizers, Nexus Louisiana, shared they received 56 applications overall, which is more than they received last year.

“That, once again, shows the resiliency and determination of our region’s entrepreneurs, and their constant desire to grow their businesses despite the challenges we all face,” shared Wendy Overton, director of strategy and development at Nexus Louisiana.

The companies – Unlock’d, Omnidek, LLENA(AI), Neuro Rescue, Check, Relief Telemed, Mintor, inQ, and PeduL – will compete for a $50,000 investment prize at the live pitch on January 21.

“The BREW High-Stakes Pitch Competition is back to give our state’s most promising startups a chance at an investment prize to invigorate and propel their businesses to success as we all look toward the future of entrepreneurship in Louisiana,” shared BREW organizers.
