Delgado, the oldest and largest community college in Louisiana, recently celebrated the first-ever graduates of the school’s cloud computing program.
Kevin Freeman and David Setter have both graduated with an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Cloud Computing degree.
“The associate degree is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in cloud computing and provide a foundation for further studies with instruction on the overall computer information technology environment, virtual computer networks, network data security, management of IT projects and IT support for cloud systems,” shared a representative from Delgado.
The cloud computing major was first introduced in Spring 2020. During the Spring 2021 graduation, an additional 17 students were awarded the Career and Technical Certificate in Cloud Computing.
