Tulane University has announced the search for its new Chief Innovation and Entrepreneurship Officer. A search committee has been launched and Tulane is working with the national executive search firm Isaacson Miller to help fill the position.
“After months of planning, building on years of work, I’m thrilled to share that Tulane will soon launch a new presidential initiative on innovation,” shared Rob Lalka, Executive Director of the Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Tulane’s future Chief Innovation and Entrepreneurship Officer should be a successful convener , motivator, and relationship-builder who will spark innovation throughout the departments at Tulane.
This new position will report directly to the President and Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
The Chief Innovation and Entrepreneurship Officer will, “provide foundational leadership for the Tulane Innovation Institute, the newly catalyzed hub for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence,” according to a Tulane news release.
