While still in the midst of a pandemic, the New Orleans tech scene is buzzing back like this time two years ago, if not more. Several startups have been acquired and most of them — along with many other businesses in the region — are hiring.
In addition to the tried and true sites like WorkNOLA, Destination GNO, or searching by location on LinkedIn, there’s a new job board in town. The Idea Village has launched an alumni job board featuring 123 positions across 50 companies in the Greater New Orleans region. All of the jobs posted are at companies that have engaged with The Idea Village’s accelerator program over the years, including Lucid, Levelset, and TurboSquid.
But they aren’t the only companies hiring in New Orleans. In just the last two weeks, RentCheck, Susco Solutions, and Revelry have all posted available positions. DXC Technology alone has over 60 available positions ranging from software engineer to Scrum Master.
Head over to The Idea Village’s job board to find a mix of local and remote positions. This is in part due to the number of companies hiring who have been acquired by out-of-state businesses within the last few months, lending flexibility to the available tech jobs in the city.
