Economic development agency Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.) has launched StartupNOLA.com to support and promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the New Orleans area.
“StartupNOLA helps founders, investors, and job seekers become familiar with the startup community,” shared GNO, Inc. The website features databases of startups and support organizations, descriptions of local industries, and information for investors interested in the local market.
“Greater New Orleans has a robust and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Michael Hecht, President and CEO of GNO, Inc. “We felt that a ‘single point of entry’ to this community would help make it more accessible and impactful for founders, investors, and even people who want to work at new companies.”
GNO, Inc. revealed that the website was assisted by community partners such as The Idea Village, Propeller, and the Albert Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Tulane.
