Spectrum Launches Communications Services to Hundreds in St. Tammany Parish

Serving more than 32 million customers across 41 states, telecommunications company Charter Communications, Inc. launched its Spectrum Internet services to hundreds more customers last month.

The new customers are a mix of residential and commercial properties that now have access to Internet, mobile, TV, and voice services.

“This broadband investment by Charter will help expand high-speed internet to families and small businesses in southeast Louisiana and will increase access to critical online services that are becoming more important than ever,” said U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise.

Charter Communications’ newly constructed fiber-optic network buildout is part of the company’s $5 billion, multi-year investment into underserved rural communities.

The 375 new customers in St. Tammany Parish reside in Abita Springs, Slidell, and Talisheek.
