The fifth annual Black Tech NOLA, presented by NOLAvate Black, is an inclusive innovation conference slated for June 27-29 in New Orleans during the week of Essence Festival. The conference provides resources, funding, expertise, and innovation to the growing technology and creative economy in New Orleans.
Created and presented by NOLAvate Black, Black Tech NOLA was originally launched back in 2018 to address the systemic racism and social injustices preventing Black people and other under-resourced communities from gaining access to jobs in the local technology sector.
The conference will celebrate the intersection of technology, art, and culture. This year attendees have the option to attend in-person for $250 or virtually for free.
