New Orleans-based entrepreneurial support organization The Idea Village is gearing up for their annual Demo Day, slated for Thursday, May 11 at the Civic Theater. Demo Day is a culminating pitch event showcasing the thirteen high-growth, tech enabled startups that participated in this year’s VILLAGEx accelerator program.
“All of the founders that you’ll see at Demo Day represent future business leaders for our region,” said Jon Atkinson, CEO of The Idea Village. “The mentorship and resources that VILLAGEx has provided will ensure that they are ready to not only fulfill their growth potential into high-growth startups, but also give back to the community as the next generation of entrepreneurs to watch.”
Participating startups include: Bea’s Bayou Skincare, Bomb Ass Fro, Carmigo, Ceres, Glass Half Full, iCAN Technologies, Gnomic, Juris Deed, Kubanda Cryotherapy, OS Benefits, RCOAST, Safety Pouch, and Wake Up and Read the Label.
The event is free and open to the public. Additional information about the participating ventures can be found online at ideavillage.org/demoday2023.
