Elias Bizannes is the founder of the StartupBus. He will be speaking in Baton Rouge this Thursday evening.

The StartupBus is creating a lot of buzz recently and now founder Elias Bizannes will be passing through Baton Rouge on Thursday. The StartupBus is on its 3rd year and is now not just an experiment, but a competition.

The idea is that entrepreneurs can be tossed into a bus and be transformed into buspreneurs – working under time and resource constraints to come up worthwhile ideas and form a company.

Innovation Take-Out

As part of the Innovation Take-Out series, Bizannes will be speaking at the Lyceum in Baton Rouge at 6pm this Thursday. This free event is a learning meetup that allows guests to informally network with the successful entrepreneur. Event details can be found here.

Afterward, there will be a second event taking place at 8pm right across the street. Entrepreneurs and other professionals will be attending the SeNSE February Social event to enjoy drinks and and company. SeNSE is a forum for entrepreneurs in Louisiana and the go-to place for details on resources and events in Baton Rouge. Both events should not be missed!

In the meantime, check out this video of Elias talking about the bus:
