Adriana Lopez, a local writer and contributor to Silicon Bayou News and NolaVie, had a featured piece published on Forbes.com last week.

In the story, Adriana focuses on the overall draw of Louisiana and New Orleans for start-ups and entrepreneurs. She rightly proclaims:

“Louisiana’s ever-progressing business climate has recently been luring new industries and businesses to the south, using competitive tax incentives as a catalyst.  Assets such as low cost of living, high quality of life, and culture have been essential in retaining the talent that have contributed to turning Louisiana, and New Orleans specifically, into a film industry leader, entrepreneurial mecca, and technology hub.”

Adriana also throws the spotlight on several Louisiana companies, including the renowned Moonbot Studios, recent Ignition graduate Connect for a Cause, and the growing health IT firm, VoiceHIT.
