William Joyce is at it again. The co-founder of Moonbot Studios has authored a new book, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, available in stores this week. The book includes 50 pages of animation and has already earned a Kirkus Star.
Moonbot Studios took home an Oscar back in February for Best Animated Short-Film, based off the story of Morris Lessmore. The film sparked the idea for an interactive iPad App version of the story, which won App Magazine’s award for Best App of 2011. Last but not least, the story has now become available for purchase in picture book format after a series of launch parties and special events last week.
