Megan moved to New Orleans a few years ago from Lafayette, “To meet interesting, young, hip people to be inspired by.” Previously a community manager for Launch Pad, Megan now runs her own highly successful social media business, Conversations, LLC. She’s also an avid yoga practitioner and day-drinking connoisseur.
What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
Bringing on a partner and really making everything super legit within my company…I didn’t go to business school or anything so starting a business is an ever changing, huge and exciting challenge.
Tell us about your biggest failure.
My career as a broadcast journalist. There may still be clips online where you can witness the failure first hand.

What is your favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?
Drink wine on the patio with my girlfriend and our dog Jojo, enjoying the weather!
If you were stuck on an elevator for two hours, what one person (dead or alive) would you choose to be stuck with?
This question really encourages me to take the stairs more often. IMAGINE being stuck in an elevator for TWO hours!
