Brandon Oldenburg, the award-winning illustrator at Shreveport-based Moonbot Studios, has been selected to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS®).
Moonbot Studios is digital and interactive design studio with a focus on creating the best digital books, films, apps, games, and entertainment in. Oldenburg joins Moonbot Studios creative partner, William Joyce to represent the film and entertainment industry in Louisiana within AMPAS®.
Oldenburg co-founded Moonbot Studios and co-directed The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, which received an Academy Award® for best animated short film. Prior to launching Moonbot, Oldenburg co-founded Reel FX Creative Studios specializing in design and special effects for clients as Troublemaker Studios, Pixar, Disney, DreamWorks and Blue Sky Studios. While at Reel FX, Oldenburg oversaw a joint venture with William Joyce, collaborating on works for Martha Stewart, Disney and title design for feature films such as Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.
