As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week in November, the New Orleans BioInnovation Center (NOBIC) is hosting Innovation Louisiana, a three-day celebration of life science technology in state. Innovation Louisiana is a new nexus for regional researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry.
From November 18th – 20th, 2013, NOBIC, will be host to workshop and seminars designed to identify and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. The conference will be an opportunity for education, collaboration and exchange of life science technology and startup ideas in Louisiana.
The lineup of speakers and panelists includes Industry and startup experts such as Randy Hubbell from Ethicon, Samuel Camp from Pamlab, James Griffith from Care Inc. and Onsite Guardian, and Chris Schultz from Launch Pad and Voodoo Ventures. Additionally, Hunter Lentz from PTV Sciences, Clayton White from South Coast Angel Fund and Jennifer Hartt from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania are a few of the experienced investors participating in Innovation Louisiana.
Additionally, NOBIC’s 2nd annual BioChallenge, which will award a life science company with a prize package valued at over $25,000, will take place during the week. The deadline for the BioChallenge is at midnight tonight. Selected finalists will pitch on November 18th.
