Third Annual NOLATech Week Scheduled for October

Dates have been announced for the third annual NOLATech Week, the largest free technology conference in the south. The event, which is focused on promoting technology throughout the city, will be held from October 10-15, 2016.

Last year’s conference welcomed over 3,500 attendees from around the world, bringing together the art, food, music, urban development, environmental, and education communities. More than 250 businesses hosted over 100 events.

NOLATech Week was also host to the second Silicon Bayou Startup Showcase, an annual event featuring high-growth startups based in Louisiana.

Past NOLATech Week speakers have included: Susan Hobbs, Director of Events at Y Combinator; Kelly King, Web Developer at Twitter; Jordan Crook, Senior Writer at TechCrunch; and many more.
