The annual Entrepreneur Season, hosted by The Idea Village, has kicked off in New Orleans. The organization, which is packed with accelerator programs, events, and the 10th New Orleans Entrepreneur Week next spring.
Additionally, while the organization is searching for its next CEO, one of their co-founders Sally Forman is now the Acting CEO. She will provide strategic planning and executive leadership, manage day-to-day operations, and work with the Board of Directors to find the new CEO.
“We are excited about Sally’s passion for and commitment to entrepreneurs and The Idea Village and its ecosystem,” said John Payne, CEO of Caesars Entertainment Operating Company and Chairman of The Idea Village Board of Directors. “Sally’s leadership style will allow us to maximize this move, our networks, and best-practice resources so that we can continue to do what we do best – help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.”
The Idea Village is also moving out of its longtime office and into a new co-working space opening in September called The Shop at the CAC. The space will continue to be the location for New Orleans Entrepreneur Week.
