EAP Celebrates Five Years Supporting North Louisiana Entrepreneurs

BRF is an organization that runs several initiatives designed to diversify and grow the North Louisiana economy. One of those initiatives is the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), which is celebrating five years supporting the region’s entrepreneurs.

EAP seeks out and evaluates new products and ideas, helping entrepreneurs determine the best business model for their product as well as introducing them to investors.

In addition to celebrating five years in business, EAP also announced the launch of 10 new portfolio companies. The companies join dozens of others highlighted on EAP’s Wall of Entrepreneurial Achievement located at BRF’s InterTech Science Park in Shreveport.

“Since its inception, EAP has broadened its reach across 21 North Louisiana parishes and has provided services to 260 startups,” shared BRF. The team that runs EAP has vetted over 800 ideas or companies in the last five years, and helped over 70 of the businesses receive funding.

“What the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program has been able to accomplish in the last five years is remarkable,” said Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards.
