New Orleans Startup Prokeep Closes $9 Million Seed Round

Prokeep is a web-based end-to-end communication and commerce platform built exclusively for distributors. The New Orleans company has recently closed a $9 million seed funding round led by Ironspring Ventures.

The funding will go towards marketing and sales, expanding partnership channels, and breaking into new industries.

The startup was founded by Mark Kanof, Jack Carrere, and McKay Johnson, who now employ roughly 60 people in New Orleans, Atlanta, and throughout the country.

This is a huge milestone for Prokeep,” said Carrere. “We have assembled a team of employees, customers, and now world-class investors to truly revolutionize how commerce is done in wholesale distribution.

Since launching in 2016, Prokeep has served more than 1,000 distributors across 13 industries.

Other investors include S3 Ventures, Benson Capital Partners, and individuals such as Levelset CEO Scott Wolfe Jr. and more.

Prokeep was named one of the 10 must-watch New Orleans startups back in November 2021. To learn more, visit prokeep.com.
